Why is My Transaction Not Being Confirmed?
At times, you may experience a delay in your digital currency transaction being confirmed by the network. This can be frustrating, but there are a few common reasons why this may occur.
The Network is Experiencing High Transactional Volumes
Sometimes there is a high volume of digital currency being sent globally and there are more transactions than there is space available in each new block to include the transaction. This can cause delays in transactions being confirmed, as the network is working to process a large number of transactions at once.
A Double-Spend of the Same Coins
Under normal conditions, this should not occur with transactions generated by Coinme, but in general, if two transactions try to spend the same coins, one of them will never be confirmed by the network. This is a security measure to prevent fraudulent transactions.
Trying to Spend Unconfirmed Coins
If you are trying to spend coins that appear as pending in your account, your transaction will not be generated until these coins confirm. This is because the network needs to verify the transaction before it can be processed.
If you are experiencing a delay, please be patient and your transaction will be confirmed as soon as possible.
Bitcoin transactions are irreversible: Bitcoin is like cash in that transactions cannot be reversed by the sender.
Coinme is unable to expedite transactions, and once they have been broadcast, they will be confirmed by the network and completed.
