ReadyCode and Coinme have teamed up to help you turn your cryptocurrency into cash. You can conveniently sell your digital currency and pick up the cash at the nearest ReadyCode location.
You'll need to provide your Social Security Number in order to sell crypto
If you have verified your account by sharing a photo of your ID and selfie, you'll be prompted to share your SSN once you attempt to start a selling transaction for the first time.
Coinme is required to collect SSN for customers who sell crypto. See ssa.gov for more information on Social Security Numbers.
How to Sell Cryptocurrency for Cash at a ReadyCode Location
After logging into your account, this process is similar on both the Coinme mobile app and through your account on the web.
1. Select Sell.
2. Select the Coin to sell.
3. Select the ReadyCode ATM option.
4. Select the location for cash pickup.
5. Choose the amount you wish to Sell. Please note the Minimum and Maximum transaction limits.
6. Review the quote.
7. Acknowledge that the sale is final and tap Continue.
8. You will be prompted to verify your phone number.
9. At this point you will be instructed to wait for your Cash Code!
Note: It can take up to 5 Minutes for your cash code to be generated.
10. Once the code is generated you can access it by:
Taping the banner Cash Pick-up is Ready at the top of your home page.
Or taping on the transaction in your Activity list, at the end of the page.
11. On the next page you'll see the ReadyCode passcode, and also the transactions details such as status, ID, location pick-up address, final quote.
12. Go to the ReadyCode location to complete your cash pick-up.
13. Once at the ATM, select ReadyCode from the Welcome screen

14. You will be prompted to enter your Account Number which is your phone number
15. On the next screen you will enter your ReadyCode passcode
16. Confirm the amount
17. The ATM will provide you with your Cash and your transaction will be Complete!
