For maximum security and protection, Coinme has implemented Two Factor Authentication (or 2FA) to our Coinstar Kiosks. This new feature provides a layer of security in protecting your Bitcoin purchases.
How Does This Process Work?
1) Once you have clicked on the option for purchasing cryptocurrency from Coinme, you will proceed to enter in either the phone number associated with your account (or the phone number you intend to use for your Coinme account).
Please note that if you do not have your mobile device with you or your mobile device is not active, you will not be able to continue.
2) After you have entered in your mobile phone number associated with your account (or the phone number you intend to use for your Coinme account), you will then be sent a six-digit code to the mobile device phone number that was entered.
3) Now that you have received the one-time code on your mobile device, you will then proceed to enter it into the kiosk as instructed and click Submit to continue your purchase of cryptocurrency.
