This article explains what it means when your Coinme account is locked and what you can expect next.

I see an error message saying my account is locked

If you see a locked out error message when trying to log in, your account has been temporarily restricted pending a review. This message may appear at the following touchpoints:

Your account has been automatically added to a review queue. You do not need to contact support to request the unlock. We will reach out to you directly with next steps or the outcome of our review.

This error message may appear at the following touchpoints:

  • Coinstar kiosk after entering your phone number

  • Mobile app when trying to log in

  • Web browser when trying to log in


My account has been terminated

If you were informed that your account has been terminated or permanently closed, this decision is final.

Terminated accounts cannot be reopened. Our support team is unable to reverse this decision or provide additional details about the closure reason.

What this means:

  • Your account will not be reinstated.

  • Our support team cannot discuss the specific reason for closure.

  • Contacting support will not change the outcome of this review.

  • If you had a pending voucher or balance at the time of closure, you'll be able to submit a reimbursement request for our review.

If you are unable to log in but do not see a locked account message, your issue may be related to your password, MFA code, or browser settings.
